I: Am newish to Washington and trying so meet new friends on match. Have moss on my nose from having lived my life in the Pacific NW. Am into politics and trying to get a toe in the door back here. I like to ask questions and learn what is really going on in a situation or with a person. Can be Tigger some days, Eeyore others, and sometimes Pooh. Want to climb Mt. Shasta and Rainier more than I want to see the Great Wall. Want to spend a month in Brazil sooner than later. Had a marvelous two month solo traveling experience in East Africa a few years ago and would go back tomorrow if I could. Was a local politician in a former life so understand some of what goes on here. Love dogs. Stood at 15, 000 ft and watched the sun rise directly over Mt Kilimanjaro 40 miles distant. Blame Reagan (and his disciples) for most of our country’s problems and think Bush was just a pawn who took us over the cliff—okay, he’s worse than that. Hope to run a half-marathon this spring. Have been to Havana, but don’t tell. Have a soft spot for New Orleans where I lived after Katrina for a spell. Listen to Talking Heads, Al Green, Ella, Frank, Nat Cole, Annie Lennox, Barry White, Count Basie, solo piano of any type, most Putamaya, Brahms, Beethoven, Mahler, and much more. Still have big dreams.
