Looking for that Special someone
I really don't know what to say....I have done my travels in life and someday would like to do all of them again, but when that time comes i would like it to be with someone that is special to me. To stand on a mountain top watching the fog over a valley town in the morning is beautiful, or the desert at night. I love to bring happiness to people. When i traveled i found that a poem on a napkin could make a lot of people smile. I am truly nice and care about things that most say shouldn't. I love to read and have conversations about anything. I am well versed on almost all subjects. If i don't know about something i am always willing to learn about them. I decided to try online dating sites for some of the same reasons most of you did. I just couldn't deal with the people one would meet in bars or other places anymore, they seemed and ended up to be fake. True honesty is a virtue that i fear is fading in todays world, people would rather be nice then say what they really think. I am looking for someone that cares for themselves and other people. Someone that doesn't think its weird to watch cartoons or just sit outside and watch lightning, to see the majesty of natures beauty with someone that you care about only enhances the experience. I enjoy cuddling while watching a movie or anytime for that matter. I'm a fairly talented poet and have been nominated for poet of the year twice and received an editors choice award as well. I enjoy a lot of movies, mostly old movies and cheesy flicks. To see todays big stars in small cheesy rolls is pretty cool (George Clooney in Return of the Killer Tomatoes or Jim Cary playing a drugged out rock star in the Dead Pool.) The Evil Dead series with Bruce Cambel is probably one of the best.
first dates are always different... both people think about the same things... like, how far can i take jokes, or can i even kid around with this person... i hope they have something interesting to say... etc... so i guess the best first date there could be for both people is to meet somewhere with a couple friends, and talk.... go to a park... mall... wherever. Then if things are going well and both people see the signs in the other that its cool to go a little further... then you go for a walk or another room or wherever for a little alone time...this is where the getting to know you personally conversation takes place... if things are cool still see if a second date could happen
